How many Epsom Derbies ?

CSP are pleased to have completed yet another Derby at Epsom Downs Racecourse. The 2019 Epsom Derby was the 240th annual running of the Derby and took place on 1 June 2019. The race was sponsored by Investec. The winner was the Coolmore Stud's bay colt Anthony Van Dyck, ridden by Seamie Heffernan .

CSP have been supporting this most prestigious race-day of the 5 Classics for over 20 years now delivering all soft services to the venue and this great race including Traffic Management, Car Parking, Cash and Audit/Ticket Selling, Cleaning and Security/Stewarding services.

Very notable this year that it was our Epsom Operations Manager, Tobias (Toby) Dransfield's first Derby, and what a great team delivery it was. The service delivery standards are being raised each year and Toby and his team have certainly made a great first impression.

The evening was capped off for our Operations Director, Scott Metcalfe, when after a few long days he was able to see his team, Liverpool FC, win the UEFA Champions League whilst still at Epsom in the evening.
