A Qualification Milestone...

Over the last 2 years we have seen significant increases in requirements for Community Safety Scheme Accredited (CSAS) Traffic Officers from both new and existing Clients. Across the peak periods in 2024, we will need to deploy an average of 45 officers per day, with the busiest days totaling more than 70 officers.

At the start of 2024, we set a business objective to increase our CSAS community to exceed 100 officers by the 1st of June, to enable us to comfortably manage the spikes in demand across the summer period.

Our strategy included the introduction of a new training partner, Nick Harley, and utilising Kempton Park Racecourse as the new home for CSAS training. In addition, another key change is that the Training team diligently ensure all trainees have successfully received vetting clearance from the National Police Vetting Service prior to any training commencing.

We have already delivered two successful courses this year, training a further 22 individuals from the Frontline, with a further course scheduled in April.

We are delighted to share that we are well on course to exceed the milestone of 100 CSAS Traffic Officers by the 1st of June 2024, with our newly trained individuals increasing the pool to 90 Qualified CSAS Officers!
