Investors in People renewed again
We first achieved Investors in People (IIP) almost 20 years ago when it was a relatively new accreditation. It was important at that stage to secure external validation of our company culture, process and procedures to enable development in the work place.
It is pleasing to note that we have successfully renewed this ever since then, with our latest accreditation valid for a further 3 years, although there is an annual review to ensure that we are on target and continue on the right path.
The validation process has also continued to expand from the days of ensuring 'appraisals' were carried out with clear objectives, to now encompassing the overall company strategy from Boardroom right down to the front line and measuring connection, well-being, engagement and organisational culture.
Recently, Alan Neill, our Director of Operations, and Tim Surch, our Head of HR, joined a host of other businesses in Central London in celebration of being accredited with the Investors in People Award and it was great hearing from other organisations about their fantastic people orientated initiatives.
