CABWI endorsement.....

A key part of our strategy is developing our in-house training so as not to be reliant on external providers. We trialed on-line training modules last year and moved to a full suite this year with an expanding library. We also recruited a dedicated Training and Development Manager at the start of the year, Kacey Watson, to lead on the development of our training schedules.

A key part of this was to start to deliver our own traffic management qualification training to create more flexibility on training dates and numbers, including Chapter 12D and Chapter 8 (Signing Lighting Guarding).

We have now successfully gained the prestigious CABWI Centre endorsement to deliver the demanding Signing, Guarding and Lighting qualification. CABWI are a nationally recognised awarding body established in 1991 and are one of the leading awarding organisations for the Street Works and Street Works Reassessment scheme. In 2016 CABWI launched its endorsement programme designed to recognise high quality in-house training programmes and CSP have been awarded a license to deliver the Street Works qualification.
